NCC rally on International day against drug abuse

Indore: On the occasion of the International day against drug abuse on Sunday, the cadets of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) organised a rally to spread awareness about the ill effects of consumption and trafficking of substances of abuse. Artists came all the way from Ujjain to demonstrate the diseases caused by substances of abuse. The focal point of the rally was at Geeta Bhawan crossing where cadets informed the masses about the harm caused by such substances. The rally was supported by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

The NCB also organised a street play in front of Rajwada to promote the cause. The NCB also conducted a workshop in the Military Area to explain the provisions of the National Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
